2008 Annual Conference

The annual meeting of the Marion Dean Ross / Pacific Northwest Chapter will be held in Tacoma, Washington, October 2,-4, 2008. Tacoma, once the Pacific Northwest's largest city, showcases a rejuvenated downtwon with one of the region's premier collections late nineteenth-century architecture set against Commencement Bay, Puget Sound, and the majestic backdrop of Mt. Rainier. Fifteen organizations will welcome attendees to the conference where scholars will address the theme: Re-Use, Recycling, and Rebirth: Architecture and Preservation in the Pacific Northwest.
